The rearmost numbers from Social Security Scotland show that by the end of January 2023, some 23,660 people across Scotland were entering Adult Disability Payment( ADP). The new regressed benefit is replacing particular Independence Payment( PIP) and Disability Living Allowance( DLA) for being heirs progressed under 65 on April 8, 2013.
The benefit replaced PIP for new claims at the end of August last time and is designed to help cover the redundant costs for someone living with a disability, having a long- term health condition( physical or internal) or a terminal illness. The indigenous breakdown includes over 319,000 heirs living in Scotland,2.7 million in England and 232,000 in Wales.
Some 547 health conditions are being supported by PIP or ADP, but the list isn’t definitive and contains an’ unknown’ order. The statistics from DWP for PIP conditions indicates an increase in the number of people claiming for Psychiatric diseases, which includes a wide number of conditions including anxiety, stress, depression and literacy diseases.
January saw the civil number of heirs for these types of conditions rise to- an increase of 40,143 from October. The number of people claiming for Musculoskeletal Conditions similar as arthritis, joint, habitual or aft pain and hipsterism diseases increased by 24,493 to.

This includes asthma, conditions of the upper respiratory tract, pulmonary fibrosis and cystic fibrosis.
Some 35 per cent of all claims with annuity to PIP at the end of January 2023 are in damage of the loftiest position of award.
